Alison Kite, Vascular Clinical Nurse Specialist for Aneurysm Care at University Hospital, Coventry will be presenting a talk on Intermittent Claudication (medical term for calf pain) describing symptoms, what causes it and how you can treat this with exercise and a few lifestyle changes.

Diagnosis of Intermittent Claudication is very important so that we can help to prevent the disease getting worse which may lead to an amputation of the leg.

A Medicine for Members event will take place between 5pm and 6pm on Wednesday 13th March 2013 in the Clinical Sciences Building, University Hospital, Clifford Bridge Road, Coventry about Intermittent Claudication and the session aims to give you the opportunity to meet an expert in this field and ask any questions you may have.

To book a place for this session please contact Julia Bassett, on 02476 966054 or email julia.bassett@uhcw.nhs.uk
