They know that times are hectic, and women need a quick solution to support weight loss. Does It Really Work?

The effectiveness of this product can vary depending on your habits. For example, Trimtone claims to increase your body’s ability to turn stored fat into energy and speed up your metabolism.

Taking Trimtone is also supposed to reduce food cravings; thus, you will have more willpower to say no to treats in your weight loss journey. All of these benefits come from 5 simple, all-natural ingredients.

Here is where your habits come in. The manufacturer states this pill needs to be combined with a healthy diet and exercise to work. A healthy diet and routine exercise are the most critical factors in weight loss. Therefore, making these changes alone will cause weight loss.

But what if you combine exercise and healthy eating with Trimtone? Will it cause you to burn fat even faster? And will your cravings diminish? First, let’s take a closer look at the ingredients and research in this unbiased Trimtone review.

Pros

  • Only 5 all-natural ingredients
  • No fillers
  • Easy to use (only one pill daily)
  • 100-day money-back guarantee (excluding a $15 fixed fee to cover shipping and admin costs)
  • Free & fast shipping worldwide
  • Discounts for buying in bulk
  • 24/7 customer service
  • Made in the USA and certified by GMP

Cons

  • Contains a gelatin capsule, making it unsuitable for vegetarians or vegans
  • Ingredient dosages are not as strong as other fat-burning supplements
  • Becomes ineffective as the day progresses
  • Must be accompanied by a healthy diet and exercise to be effective

Trimtone Ingredients

Trimtone only has five all-natural ingredients. There are no fillers and only one additional component, gelatin, for the capsule. These ingredients are said to work harmoniously to promote weight loss and suppress the appetite. Let’s delve into each ingredient separately to see if this product is worth the price.

Trimtone has effective weight-loss ingredients such as caffeine, grains of paradise, green tea, and green coffee extract. Additionally, these products are present in all natural forms with no fillers, which is excellent for the deliverance of the product in a safe fashion. Plus, one pill a day is very convenient.

However, the problem is that your body cannot sustain the dosage of these ingredients throughout the day. And with only one pill daily, the effects will most likely wear off in a few hours.

Additionally, the dosage of glucomannan is extremely low and thus ineffective in this product as a fat burner. Most diet pills contain ten times the amount of glucomannan than Trimtone to show a benefit.

trimtone review

Trimtone has some great ingredients with excellent benefits, such as

  • Caffeine
    • Increases your metabolic rate, meaning you burn additional calories
    • Increased focus and concentration
    • Antioxidants
  • Green Coffee Bean
    • Antioxidants
    • Controls blood sugar
  • Green Tea
    • May contribute to weight loss.
  • Grains of Paradise
    • May have the ability to turn white fat into brown fat.
  • Glucomannan
    • Appetite suppression
    • Reduces cravings

However there are some potential drawbacks of Trimtone, such as

  • Dosage isn’t sustainable
  • The amount of glucomannan is too low to be beneficial
  • It contains a relatively high amount of caffeine which can contribute to insomnia
  • It must be purchased online and is not available in store

Caffeine

Caffeine is found in most weight loss products. That is because a lot of research[1] states caffeine can boost athletic performance. Trimtone has also used the same journal article[1] research to back their claims that caffeine can burn stored fat.

However, it is essential to note that these claims are only accurate when caffeine is taken before exercise[2]. The amount of caffeine in Trimtone is 120 mg, equivalent to a cup of coffee.

Another reason caffeine is typically used in weight loss products is that it stimulates the release of epinephrine from your nervous system. After it is released, it tells your fat tissues to start breaking down. Again, this is great for losing weight, except that once these fat cells are released and broken down, you have to use them, or the fat cells will return to adipose or fat tissue.

So again, caffeine can only help you lose weight if accompanied by exercise.

Caffeine can increase your resting metabolic rate or the calories you burn while at rest. Per the research[3], taking 100 mg of caffeine can raise your resting metabolic rate by 3-4%[3]. So, for example, if you have a resting metabolic rate of 2000 calories per day, you could burn up to an additional 80 calories per day by drinking or taking a 100 mg caffeine supplement.

Green Coffee Bean

The green coffee bean extract found in Trimtone is made from raw, unroasted beans. This harvesting process means the beans retain their nutritional value (some nutrition is lost if you roast beans[4]). Another super nutrient found in green coffee beans is an antioxidant by the name of chlorogenic acid[5].

Antioxidants are essential because they help fight free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that, if they become abundant, cause many terrible diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer.

Chlorogenic acid also helps to maintain healthy blood sugar levels[6]. This is important for weight loss because your body produces insulin when your blood sugar is high. When your insulin levels increase, your body stops burning fat and instead encourages storing food.

Thus, weight control is easier when your blood sugars are controlled[7]. Green coffee bean extract can be found in most weight loss supplements because it has a lot of scientifically[7] backed research.

Green Tea

Green tea is another common ingredient in over-the-counter weight loss supplements. And we know green tea is loaded with beneficial nutrients like antioxidants which are excellent for your health. But is green tea helpful in losing weight?

Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is an abundant polyphenol in green tea. Polyphenol is a fancy word for part of a plant that offers health benefits. It has been reported that consumption of EGCG may contribute to weight loss.

No one quite understands the mechanism[8] of how EGCG helps you lose weight, but there are a few factors necessary for weight loss to take effect.

First, EGCG must be taken with a caffeine dose of 80 – 460 mg/day[9] to achieve optimal weight loss effects. In Trimtone, they are dosing green tea and caffeine, so the results should be sufficient.

Also, the green tea dose needs to be at least 100 mg[9] to have the best effect on body fat and weight reduction (Trimtone contains 100 mg of green tea leaf extract). Studies also show that a period of 12 weeks[9] of consistent intake makes the most considerable progress in weight reduction.

Grains of Paradise

Grains of Paradise are steadily becoming very prevalent in the weight loss world. Grains of Paradise is an herb closely related to the cardamom and ginger family. It has been studied for its potential as a fat burner, its role in increasing your calorie burn, and improving digestion.

Before we discuss the validity behind these claims, we need to discuss the two types of fat[10] found in our bodies:

  • White adipose tissue
    • Larger in size
    • Located under the skin
    • Majority of our fat
    • Too much builds up in obesity
  • Brown adipose tissue
    • Smaller in size
    • Breaks down blood sugar (glucose) and fat molecules to create heat in cold weather

Researchers have been studying grains of paradise’s ability to turn white fat into brown fat. Brown adipose tissue can also better control blood sugar levels, which we learned earlier and is also helpful in fat burning.

One note is that research studies are very lacking at this time, especially with human subjects. Therefore, more studies need to be completed to know whether grains of paradise are safe and effective.

In the human research[11] study performed in 2014, patients were given a dose of 30mg daily of Grains of Paradise and showed a significant loss in abdominal fat. The dose in Trimtone is 40 mg.

Glucomannan

This is another widely used ingredient in weight loss supplements. It is a plant fiber and has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries as an appetite suppressant and weight loss aide.

However, it’s primarily used in weight loss supplements because of its bulking ability. Only a small amount of glucomannan powder would emulsify an entire glass of water.

Studies are mixed when it comes to the efficacy of glucomannan. For example, one study[12] in 2013 showed no weight loss difference between participants who took 1,000 mg of glucomannan and participants who drank an eight-ounce glass of water before meals for eight weeks.

A different study was completed in 2005[13], however, had different results. Interestingly, in this trial, they paired glucomannan with a calorie-restricted diet of 1,200 calories per day. In addition, they also tested different types of dietary fibers among the participants (glucomannan, guar gum, and alginate).

This study concluded that the participants on a calorie-restricted diet and the glucomannan had a more significant weight loss (1.7 lbs per week for five weeks) than the other types of fibers.

One thing to note, however, is the effective dosage of glucomannan. The amount Trimtone supplies in one capsule are 100 mg. The optimal dose[14] for weight loss is 2,000 mg to 4,000 mg daily. Therefore, the amount of glucomannan is likely not significant enough to support your weight loss journey.

Potential Side Effects

Trimtone is considered a safe, all-natural weight loss supplement. However, it has a very high caffeine content that comes from green tea, green coffee beans, and caffeine itself. Therefore, it may be unsafe for people with pre-existing medical conditions or people who are sensitive to caffeine. It should also not be taken if you are a minor, pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Some signs of excess caffeine intake include:

  • Dizziness
  • Shakiness
  • Dehydration
  • Headaches
  • Sweatiness
  • Restlessness
  • Anxiety
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea

If you experience any of these symptoms, start at a lower dose of Trimtone and slowly increase your dosage over several weeks to acclimate your body’s response to caffeine.

Dosage

One capsule in the morning, 30 minutes before breakfast with a full glass of water (8 ounces)

Trimtone Reviews: What Do Real Users Say?

Trimtone is relatively new to the market, so there are few Trimtone customer reviews.

“Good product. Started taking this before my wedding to slim down a bit. I feel like it did the job along with exercise and mindful eating. But after about 3 weeks, it began to cause nausea and upset stomach so I discontinued my use. But everyone is different.”

Kaila

“I have been taking this for about 3 weeks and have already lost 7lbs.”

Kmm1120000

“This product is supposed to give its users energy, but I experienced just the opposite. I don’t know if it was just the way it reacted with my body, but I took it as recommended, one capsule in the morning, and by afternoon, I needed a nap.”

Amazon kindle customer

“Nothing came from regular use”

Precautions

Trimtone contains all-natural ingredients that are safe and effective. The only precaution comes from the ingestion of caffeine which can be harmful to some, including people with medical conditions, caffeine sensitivity, those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the age of 18.

Final Thought

Trimtone has effective weight-loss ingredients such as caffeine, grains of paradise, green tea, and green coffee extract. They also do an excellent job of using natural and safe well-sourced products.

The only disappointing aspect is the dosage of these ingredients. First of all, Trimtone only advises the use of one pill daily. Unfortunately, the effects of the ingredients in Trimtone tend to dissipate[15] anywhere from 2-5 hours after ingestion. Therefore, the effects of Trimtone are not practical for 24 hours; thus, your appetite suppression and ability to burn fat will wear off by the afternoon.

Additionally, the dosage of glucomannan is extremely low and thus ineffective. Most diet pills contain ten times the amount of glucomannan than Trimtone.

Therefore, in summary, Trimtone has some great ingredients that are well sourced, healthy, and natural. Combined with diet and exercise, you’re the most likely to see results from Trimtone. However, the overall effectiveness of this product is questionable, given its low-dose ingredients.

If you want something with quicker, more effective results, you might wish to research other fat burners on the market.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Trimtone safe to use?

Trimtone does use high-quality ingredients that are all natural with no fillers. Due to this, it is considered safe to use. However, Trimtone contains quite a bit of caffeine (120 mg plus green tea and coffee). So if you are sensitive to caffeine, you might consider starting at a lower dose.
Given the high amount of caffeine, Trimtone is not recommended if you have an existing medical condition, are caffeine-sensitive, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or are a minor. Remember the caffeine amount in Trimtone for your beverage choices throughout the day. Too much caffeine can cause insomnia, dizziness, dehydration, anxiety, and headaches.

How long does it take for Trimtone to work?

This depends on your body type and the effort you put into consistently eating a healthy diet and exercising. If these strategies are implemented, you should see a noticeable difference in about a month.

How can I lose weight fast with Trimtone?

Trimtone can provide a modest boost in weight loss as long as you are pairing it with a healthy diet and exercise plan.

When should you take Trimtone?

The manufacturer recommends taking one pill right as you wake in the morning with a full glass of water (8 ounces) thirty minutes before eating.

Can Trimtone help me lose belly fat?

Trimtone does contain ingredients that are scientifically proven to burn fat. However, Trimtone must be combined with healthy eating and exercise to see these desired results. Trimtone will not work if you only take one pill daily. It isn’t magic. However, many who have used Trimtone alongside a healthier lifestyle have seen great results.
