Blood Pressure Medication Reduces Tumor, Saves Baby's Life

The growth, a hemangioma – a malformation of blood vessels – was on her head, neck and chest.

To help the struggling baby, a doctor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee took an unusual step.

She gave the baby a very common medicine, normally used to regulate blood pressure.
