There is a reasonable likelihood that the protests may extend until Wednesday, March 9.
This strike does not involve any Children’s National staff. However, Children’s National shares a campus with Washington Hospital Center, so we are alerting you to this issue as it has the potential to impact traffic on our campus.
If you are traveling to our main campus on March 4-9, please consider allowing extra travel time, as there may be increased traffic around our campus. You may see increased security presence on the campus, and more pedestrian traffic than usual. Children’s National’s team is working to ensure all of our patient families have access to our main campus with minimal disruptions. Thank you for your understanding.
