Researchers need participants to track alcohol consumption via smartphone

Participation involves:

  • Using a smartphone app only when consuming alcohol over a six week period (to complete questions about use); and
  • Participating in three brief study visits at the University’s Sandy Bay campus or Medical Sciences Precinct in the Hobart city centre to upload the application to your phone and download the data.

Requirements for research participation include that you are aged between 18-35, regularly consume alcohol (with and without energy drinks) and own a smartphone running either Android 4.0+ or iPhone 6+.

Participants will receive $100 reimbursement for time and expenses.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please email alcoholemastudy@utas.edu.au or complete the screening questionnaire at: http://tinyurl.com/pstsuf6
