Flibanserin is intended for women who have acquired HSDD. It is not intended for women who have a medical history of decreased sexual desire in the past. You should know that your chance of fainting will increase as it is a side effect of flibanserin. Flibanserin can also increase your chance of having severe low blood pressure. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while on flibanserin.

Precaution 

It is unknown what effect flibanserin could have on an unborn baby during pregnancy. Be sure to alert your doctor if you plan on becoming pregnant. It is not known whether flibanserin is passed through breast milk. The FDA says you should not breastfeed while on flibanserin. 

Many drugs, herbs, and supplements are contraindicated with flibanserin. Some of them are ciprofloxacin, ketoconazole, certain HIV-1 medications, telaprevir, verapamil, nefazodone, and moderate to strong CYP3A4 inhibitors. Clinically significant interactions were seen with other CNS depressants (not just alcohol), proton pump inhibitors, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, St. John’s wort, and Digoxin among others. 

Do not start taking Tribulus Terrestris, or any other type of medication, without the approval of your doctor. Tribulus Terrestris is a supplement that some say improves sexual health and other health issues. Tribulus terrestris is a herb. 

A 2-year carcinogen study[4] with mice found a significant incidence of malignant tumor development in female mice who were given 3 to 10 times the clinical dose that is recommended. These increases were not seen in female rats, male rats, or male mice. The FDA is unsure of the clinical significance of these results. 

Side effects include dizziness, nausea, low blood pressure, sleepiness, somnolence, fainting, and more. Flibanserin is a pink pill. At receptor 5-HT1A flibanserin displays agonist activity.
