Nutrisport 90+ Protein Review: What Do Real Users Say?

I read the reviews and was a little cautious about people claiming it to be too disgusting to consume! I decided to give it a try and just grin & bare it if it was as bad as what everybody was going on about! I bought the chocolate flavor as the safest bet, and it arrived today. Obviously, my first reaction was to eat some to taste it straight from the tub. It tasted pretty good! Hmmm, people were saying it was when it was mixed with water? I’ll try that! It took a lot of shaking to dissolve into the water, but once I started drinking, I was appalled that people were moaning! IT TASTES PRETTY GOOD! This is the first protein powder I have used, but I can imagine if it were to taste “better”, you would pretty much have a milkshake! 

I’ve had this for a week now. Aside from the good price, this powder is really good. Now I’m not on an extreme diet, and I mix it into porridge with oat milk and into full-fat Greek yogurt and can hardly taste it. It blends really well. I add some maple syrup, banana, and cinnamon, and it’s really tasty. I have found that my energy and stamina in interval training classes have already improved. And yes, I forgot to have lunch the first time I had it for breakfast, which is unlike me, so the satiety aspect of the casein protein for weight loss/lean build is going to work for me, too, I believe. I’ll post again to update this in a month.

This product is not only cheap (for how much you get), it has a high protein content. Therefore this makes it great for people on a budget (like myself). Having said that, opting for the cheap option comes at a cost. This is the form of taste. If you are a fussy protein drinker like myself, this product may NOT satisfy you. It doesn’t taste like chocolate (in my opinion), and when mixed, there is still a grainy taste present, even after using a blender and mixing thoroughly. My verdict overall is that although this product is cheap (in comparison to others), the taste is awful, and for such a large amount of 5KG (I will have to endure the taste) for me, I don’t think I will buy this product again.

Thought I’d take a punt on a new powder as this one was so cheap. This has convinced me never to try a new protein powder ever again. I bought the chocolate flavour, and it is easily the worst thing I’ve ever tasted, no matter what it’s mixed with. It’s not only that it tastes bad; however, it also has a revolting grainy texture when mixed with water or milk (and probably anything else) that made me want to vomit. I decided not to put myself through the torture of getting through 5kg of this and bought some more expensive but good quality powder instead. It was cheap but definitely not worth it, and the money was a complete waste.
